Where he fits
Chris Rodriguez Jr. plays for the JAX as a RB, wearing number 24. He's in year 4 of his career.
His job: The team's own depth chart lists him number 2 at running back — that's the order they'd normally use.
Last time out: Chris had 11 carries for 55 yards, and 0 catches on 1 target for 0 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none. He played about 30% of the offensive snaps — a real role, but not a every-down one.
This season: Chris had 39 carries for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns, and 1 catch on 2 targets for 6 yards.
He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.
Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
