Where he fits

Daniel Jones plays for the IND as a QB, wearing number 17. He's in year 8 of his career.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him first at quarterback — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Daniel had 13 of 22 passes for 108 yards, with 1 interception, and 4 carries for 13 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none. He was on the field for 100% of his team's offensive plays — essentially every snap.

This season: Daniel had 143 of 240 passes for 1398 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 7 interceptions, and 21 carries for 68 yards and 1 touchdown.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
