Where he fits

Fernando Mendoza plays for the LV as a QB, wearing number 15. This is his first season in the league.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him number 2 at quarterback — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Fernando had 6 of 8 passes for 48 yards, and 1 carry for 3 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none. He was only on the field for about 17% of the offensive plays, so he is a situational piece right now.

This season: Fernando had 6 of 8 passes for 48 yards, and 1 carry for 3 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
