Where he fits
Jonathan Taylor plays for the IND as a RB, wearing number 28. He's in year 7 of his career.
His job: The team's own depth chart lists him first at running back — that's the order they'd normally use.
Last time out: Jonathan had 18 carries for 95 yards and 1 touchdown, and 2 catches on 3 targets for 15 yards. He was on the field for about 67% of his team's offensive plays, so he is one of their main options.
This season: Jonathan had 140 carries for 587 yards and 8 touchdowns, and 17 catches on 26 targets for 178 yards.
He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

How his team's doing: IND are 2-5 this season — meaning they've won 2 of the games they've played. They're number 3 in their division right now. Current run: L3.
From the shared sports feed, refreshed within the last few hours. Nothing on the injury report for him — or we can't verify it right now, in which case we leave it out.
