Where he fits

Josh Allen plays for the BUF as a QB, wearing number 17. He's in year 9 of his career.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him first at quarterback — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Josh had 23 of 33 passes for 255 yards and 2 touchdowns, and 5 carries for 1 yards. He was on the field for 100% of his team's offensive plays — essentially every snap.

This season: Josh had 114 of 171 passes for 1504 yards and 9 touchdowns, with 4 interceptions, and 48 carries for 240 yards and 8 touchdowns, and 1 catch on 1 target for 1 yards.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
