Where he fits

Josh Jacobs plays for the GB as a RB, wearing number 8. He's in year 8 of his career.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him first at running back — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Josh had 21 carries for 39 yards and 1 touchdown, and 6 catches on 6 targets for 13 yards and 1 touchdown. He was on the field for about 71% of his team's offensive plays, so he is one of their main options.

This season: Josh had 32 carries for 75 yards and 1 touchdown, and 11 catches on 13 targets for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
