Where he fits

Omar Cooper Jr. plays for the NYJ as a WR, wearing number 11. This is his first season in the league.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him number 2 at wide receiver — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Omar had 5 catches on 5 targets for 115 yards and 1 touchdown. He was on the field for about 64% of his team's offensive plays, so he is one of their main options.

This season: Omar had 12 catches on 13 targets for 248 yards and 2 touchdowns.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
