Where he fits

Rico Dowdle plays for the PIT as a RB, wearing number 13. He's in year 7 of his career.

His job: The team's own depth chart lists him number 2 at running back — that's the order they'd normally use.

Last time out: Rico had 9 carries for 41 yards, and 6 catches on 6 targets for 45 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none. He played about 44% of the offensive snaps — a real role, but not a every-down one.

This season: Rico had 31 carries for 118 yards, and 13 catches on 17 targets for 82 yards. He scored NO touchdowns and threw none.

He isn't on the official week 8 injury report — no designation was filed for him.

Official league data, week 8 of the 2026 season.
